     “Murky” is well suited for the next King Kong sequel. The song is cinematic in its forceful tribal soundscape. Saint Mesa has a Chilean background, which also surfaces during the track.

     Saint Mesa is the performance name of Danny McCook from Mission Viejo, California. The submission of “Murky” states:

“All I Want” by KARMS – A Song Feature

     The Soundcloud waveform of “All I Want” is an interesting one. The first minute reflects a passionate vocally driven minimalist approach that describes the relationship scenario. Then, there is an amplitude jump as the percussion enters. A crescendo occurs at about 2:30, but it’s followed by a lull. The last two minutes are characterized by forceful instrumental play, with the vocals becoming questioning.

     Judging the song from KARMS before reaching its conclusion is a mistake. The song is bipolar in a positive sense. 

     KARMS is from Dublin, Ireland, and is formed of Colm O’Loughlin (vocals, guitar), Stephen O’Loughlin (guitar, vocals), Danny Farrelly (bass, vocals), and Jay Maleney (drums).

“Higher” by Octobers - Free Friday/Saturday (“FL&R”)

     Free and Legal Downloads? Yes, at least temporarily. Bands often temporarily permit free downloads of their releases.  The end of an offer may be based on the expiration of a set period of time or on a limited number of downloads.  But at least for now, here is a song that qualifies as a Free, Legal and Recommended (FL&R) download.

     Finding songs that can be legally downloaded is easy. The difficult task is to find legally downloadable music that we recommend. Our plan is to post at least one FL&R song each Friday/Saturday.
