“Timelines” by GZ Grant - A Song Feature

 

     “Timelines” combines the guitar sophistication of Math Rock with synth and vocal processing of Dream Pop Rock. That is our assessment, and we don’t shy away from it. But to illustrate the degree of genre bending/blending in the song, GZ Grant says of “Timelines:”

  “It’s an upbeat psychedelic rock track with experimental vocal delays/harmonies. There's some krautrock influence as far as the hypnotic or circular drum/bass pattern. All recorded in my bedroom with the exception of the drums.”
