Finding songs that can be legally downloaded is easy. The difficult task is to find legally downloadable music that we recommend. Our plan is to post at least one Free, Legal and Recommended (FL&R) song each Saturday.
Future Haunts are a band from Brisbane, Australia. The members are Ben Speight (guitar, vocals), Daniel Sergiacomi (bass), Tom Lindeman (guitar), and Stu Mckenzie (drums). Their bio reads:
Melding the cosmic studio journeying of The War on Drugs with the melodic immediacy of The Stone Roses, Future Haunts are a group that exist on the blurry edges of rock music. Their songs are malleable; tonal excursions where textured guitar-scapes dissolve into fuzzy freakouts above always driving backbones. Agile melodies are foregrounded, stacked on top of each other, and scaffolded to smart structures that push, but never get lost in their own boundaries.

“Inana” by Camel Power Club begins in a manner similar to a Vampire Weekend single; thereafter the song holds a little of a number of interesting elements. “Inana” has a Surf Dream pop vibe with a children’s choir. They are based in France.

Lyrics of “Inana” by Camel Power Club
Back to the city
In the costume of a penguin
I network with the dolphins
While the fat cats are laughing
What’s the point to be on track
In a race with a wolfpack
A Prozac in my backpack
Does the sound of a whiplash feels good to me
But as far I can see
You crave to be free
And feel just like me
That call of the Sea
Are we all Seamen inside
Are we all Seamen inside
Kids in circles clamoring for change
Fear has vanished now we make a plan
Are we all Seamen inside
Are we all Seamen inside
Are we all Seamen inside
Are we all Seamen inside
Yahiiiihihihihi
