The lead vocals are powerful and
passionate. But it’s the cooperation of the choir with the voice of Humble John
that creates musical magic. The lyrics describe an unattractive situation – the
female love interest has found love with another man, while the male relies
upon drink as a medicine. But “White Sheets” possesses a beauty.
The
piano enhances the emotional feel of “White Sheets.” The Facebook site identifies
Humble John as the solo project of John Zelko, who generates melancholy Folk
ballads. Zelko is based in Windsor, Ontario, He was previously with the bands The
Wanderlust Club, Better Weather, and The Hood.
“White
