     “The Wolf” is improbably sophisticated, given its reliance upon finger-snapping percussion, the ukulele, and a relatively easily played keyboard hook. The keys make their first appearance just prior to the one-minute mark of the single from Babes In Canyon.
 
     Babes In Canyon is a trio based in Seattle, Washington. The members are Nathan Hamer (baritone uke, six-string uke, vocals), Michelle Nuño (bass, percussion), and Amanda Ebert (keys, vocals). Nathan and Amanda are engaged. “The Wolf” is the band’s second single, following “Second Cities.”
