The Forum released “Melt Away,” with its dynamic, driving, Rock-steady rhythm and floating, ethereal lead. The guitar-driven Indie Rock song combines elements of Pop Rock guitar delay (like those utilized by early Panic! At the Disco tracks) and swelling modern synth, creating a balance that carries the listener through the entire track with active rhythm and swirling melody. After sending out a Gainesville, Florida Craigslist ad, Michael Higgins (vocals) met his bandmates Jacob Farrell (bass) and Nick Wheeler (guitar) in late 2015. The Forum came to fruition soon after and their music took a form which can only be described as Indie Rock incorporating modern Pop elements with ruminative lyricism. Ethan Klohr officially joined The Forum in late 2018 as their drummer and has since developed a unique rhythm in The Forum's music.
