“Closer” features quick-twitch, upper-frequency guitars, then finishes with a more sustained, more powerful and lower pitched sound. The power is first felt at 2:16. The source of the “sound” may be a synth, but we are hopeful that Sea Girls uses a guitar, particularly since they are a guitar band.
Sea Girls are Henry Camamile (vocals, guitar), Rory Young (guitar), Andrew Dawson (bass), and Oli Khan (drums). The roles have changed since Sea Girls began in 2015 and, according to Henry, their sound has shifted and developed along with the shifting roles. The goal is to constantly improve, allowing Sea Girls to generate diverse, interesting albums. The band is based in London, but their Facebook page identifies their hometown as Lincolnshire // Rutland // Leicestershire // Kent.
