Good Strangers injects modern-day sensibilities to throwback vocalization in their single “Give Me A Reason To Stay.” The project is a duo in Mullingar, Ireland. They are vocalists Conor Quinn And Niamh Kirby, who work with a large collective of musicians, producers and friends to generate a constantly shifting sound. Conor explains, "We don't fit into any bracket. Our music is a potent mix of everything we have learnt and listened to over the years and therefore its unique in its own way.”
Their new single “Give Me A Reason To Stay” is an upbeat summer anthem with a musical juxtaposition of light and dark. Although upbeat sonically, the lyrics are very much about hometown blues. The song plays on the idea of overcoming feeling of inertia, where one is looking for new beginnings and changes. “Give Me A Reason To Stay” focuses on the realization of feeling stuck in the same position. It encourages the listener to seize the moment, escape their mundane everyday ritual, and become more audacious.

Lyrics of “Give Me A Reason To Stay” by Good Strangers
I want to be in L.A
Not for the cars or the fame
Or the girls in their summer clothes
I need to find some release
Bury my head and get clean
Fade out of these blackholes
Cause all this routine's mundane
The colors all stay the same
I'm bored, I need some stimulation form my mind
Give me a vice
Give me a reason to stay
Just give me a reason to stay
I'm breaking out of these chains
Just give me one reason to love
I want to be in L.A
I'm gonna break out of these chains
Gonna find some resolution
Fix the lights and open my eyelids
Sometimes this place gets so toxic
Hearts get burnt, they get caustic
I just feel like I'm drifting away
Fading to grey
Give me a reason to stay
Just give me a reason to stay
I'm breaking out of these chains
Just give me one reason to love
Cause if the seasons don't change
It's no good and I'm praying
That the air gets sweeter
But no nothing can help me now
I've been so down and out
But I know that I'm the one for you
I'm addicted to blue
Give me a reason to stay
Just give me a reason to stay
I'm breaking out of these chains
Just give me one reason to love
Love this song so much conor and Niamh did such a good job in it can't wait to see them next week
