Conrad Deadly and The Crescent Sky - Free Saturday (“FL&R”)

     Finding songs that can be legally downloaded is easy. The difficult task is to find legally downloadable music that we recommend. Our plan is to post at least one Free, Legal and Recommended (FL&R) song each Saturday.

      Conrad Deadly is the performance name of Conrad Leadley, who is from Whitby and is now based in London. We enjoy the harmonica in “Sally Lives In My Girls Yard.” He describes the song as a tale of a female psychedelic crack head who roams the streets giving people knowledge.

According to the bio of The Crescent Sky:

  In 2018 married couple Anna Luth & Regan Luth moved from Alberta to Vancouver to pursue visual art and audio-engineering respectively, and reconnected with Anna Ratzlaff (whom Regan and Anna Luth had met previously in Australia) and her husband Jason Ratzlaff. Anna & Jason Ratzlaff met and fell in love while attending music school at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and were pursuing their own music project as a duo. Over time, the two couples became great friends and began writing music together, which eventually led to the formation of The Crescent Sky.
