In yesterday’s blog entry, we presented music from three bands, including one song from a Chicago band and another from a band named Green House. Today, it’s a duo called Houses from Chicago. Yes, that connection is a stretch that would make any first baseman proud.
Houses is comprised of Dexter Tortoriello and Megan Messina, who claim Chicago as their hometown. However, the boyfriend-girlfriend duo is now based in Los Angeles. Messina provides vocals, while Tortoriello plays a variety of instruments and is the male voice.
Houses will open for Baths in Los Angeles on June 28th, before both Baths and Houses perform at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on June 29th.
