“Warpaint” by Natives – A Song Review

      Natives identifies its genre as Tribal Pop. The percussion-heavy, but positive energy, “Warpaint” establishes credibility for the self-identification. All four members of Natives contribute to the percussion. Adding to the overall attractiveness of the song are a children’s choir and vocal processing that is often a reminder of 30 Seconds to Mars.

     The members of Natives are Andy White (drums), Greg Day (bass), Jack Fairbrother (guitar, keyboards), and Jim Thomas (vocals).
