“Another Last Time” by Fred Page – A Song Review

     Fred Page excels at introspective tracks that require both gentle, sentimental explanations and emotionally charged exclamations. Last year, “Twenty Years” showed his skills in transitioning between crooning a description of the loss of bearings within a long-term relationship and the near-shouts of anguish regarding the effects on him. This year, “Another Last Time” steps in, with statements such as “And I’m stuck inside my head… but it’s all that I’ve got left.”

     In talking about “Another Last Time,” Fred Page discusses the attempt to allow the song’s timely and universal message to come across properly:

  “Every time it felt done, something else would happen and we’d look at the song from a new perspective. First it was Brexit, then Trump, and now it just feels like it’s the right time for the world to hear the song’s message.”

     The track was co-written by Fred Page and Joe Janiak, who also provided the production.
