Milo Greene is armed with three skilled songwriters, so it’s no surprise that their catalogue of work is rich and varied. Six years ago, the Los Angeles-based band created a following with their single “1957.” That following continues to grow in number and loyalty. In September 2018, Milo Greene will release their third album, “Adult Contemporary.”
“Move” is a single from the upcoming album. The track is appropriately named, since its rhythm carries a sense of continuous forward movement. “Move” is initially driven by a strong bass line and by the vocals of Marlana Sheetz. The percussion plays a major role in continuing the march. But throughout, it’s the attention to detail that is the striking characteristic, as instruments step in and out with forethought and precision.
The members of Milo Greene are Robbie Arnett, Graham Fink, and Marlana Sheetz. Two years ago, Indie Obsessive describedthe band as a performance chameleon, after enjoying their work as a guitar band (at the Outside Lands Festival), as a Pop band (at The Warfield in SF), and as a Pop Rock band (at The Independent in SF). We’re looking forward to our next opportunity.
