The guitar is light and interesting during “Teddy Love,” then jumps forward with a Cure-like (Robert Smith) flavor two and a half minutes into the single from A Kind of Man. We are fans of the guitar in “Teddy Love,” both before and after the jump. We also appreciate the vocals, both in the falsetto range and in the more easily reached lower registers.
A Kind of Man is the solo project of Bjørn Rosenquist in Copenhagen.. The project’s name reflects a rejection of established gender categories.
