“Ghost” by Mira A Song Review

“Mesmerizing” might be the most overworked word in the blogosphere. But seldom is the use as appropriate as in describing “Ghost” by Mira. Still, if restricted to one adjective, we would select “sophisticated.” That adjective applies well to the lyrics, the vocal inflections and pauses, the arrangement, and the mixing. It’s noteworthy that “Ghost” is the product of a nineteen year old (twenty?) who is increasingly involved in the various aspects of music releases.
Mira’s full name is Mira Aasma. She hails from Gothenburg, Sweden.

The lyrics of “Ghost”
There's a ghost under my bed
Hiding in the shadows of my head
There's a ghost under my bed
And I've tried a million things that they have said

Nowadays it's hard to sleep
‘Cause the ghost will find its way into my dreams

There's a ghost under my bed
And I have to keep my body hidden well
And I feed it all the time
I detest it, but I let it into my mind

It leaves me now and then
But when the sun goes down, it comes back round again

Wishing some day you'll decend
Like a tale you'll reach your end
Seems like now on
You will remain

There's a ghost under my bed
I won't get myself together, til it's dead
Know that I seem like a fool
But it's hard to close my eyes when it haunts my room

And it brings the worst to me
When all I ever want is to be free
Free

Wishing some day you'll decend
Like a tale you'll reach your end
Seems like now on
You will remain
[Repeat]
