“Hurts” by The Dunwells – A Song Review

In the latest single release from their upcoming album, The Dunwells show their sensitive side. The lyrics of “Hurts” are addressed to someone who continuously self-destructs – “You falter and repeat, never own your mistakes.” Still, “When you fall apart, it’s killing me, it hurts sometimes.” The encouraging advice is, “There’s still time to heal, there’s still time for what you deserve.”
The Dunwells had two entries in our Top Songs of 2015, including the top position. “Hurts” has the strength to be in many lists at the end of 2016.

The Dunwells will be at SXSW 2016 (save a spot in the corner for us guys), so there’s hope that a U.S. tour will be announced soon.
