“(a) Rest” by Mountains Like Wax – A Song Review

The band vocals and the guitar in the second half of “(a) Rest” steer the song onto the path of playlist notoriety. The foundation is set during the first two minutes, and the structure is fully identifiable through the next 30 seconds, but the ornamentation isn't put in place until the final 90 seconds.

Mountains Like Wax originated in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, which is about 35 miles from Nashville. The members are Mitchell Taylor, Samuel Katz, Alex Zimmerman, and Hunter Beckgerd.
