In the last two weeks, there has been a greater frequency of bloggable appearances by bands on late night talk shows in the U.S. Our two favorites were by Modest Mouse and Dead Sara.
Dead Sara is based in Los Angeles. The core members are Emily Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Siouxsie Medley (guitar), Sean Friday (drums) and Chris Null (bass).

Modest Mouse hails from Issaquah, Washington. They are much more of a known quantity than Dead Sara. The band was formed in 1993.
