“Blank Page” by One Man Dancing – A Song Review

     One Man Dancing was originally one man, namely Agus Samur from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  He is a multi-instrumentalist, which has its advantages. But he has added three members, including his two brothers, Andres Samur (guitar, synth) and Meri Samur (drums). The non-sibling member is Javier Ojeda (bass, synth).  

     The energetic “Blank Page” is one of ten tracks from an upcoming album entitled “Memories of a New Home.” The melody is light, with contrasts with the motivation behind the song. According to the band:

  "’Blank Page’ evokes a feeling of quiet desperation, of wanting something or someone back when it's just too late to start over, and even when you know it's no good to rewind." The song is inspired on the Welsh term 'Hiraeth', a deep sense of nostalgia for a place or a time that may have never existed.”
