“Alive” by Chaz Thorogood – A Song Feature

It's a busy Thanksgiving Day, so we only have time to quote content that we endorse:

“Alive” is a powerful new single that shows a new side to Chaz Thorogood. Taking inspiration from hardship that made him want to feel more alive, this song is a clever combination of a renewed determination and energy with the atmospheric and electronic sounding references from the likes of Tycho, Christian Loeffler and Kiasmos. Chaz describes "Alive" as “A song that is the product of a transitional period in my life. A rebirth from an intense time”.

Chaz Thorogood has always had a nomadic personality. Living on a 45 years old cabin cruiser on London’s historic canals is how his creativity flourishes best. “It feels like I’m a fly on the wall of one the busiest cities in the world and it allows me to create, move where I like, be self-sufficient”. Despite Chaz’s indifference to conventional city living and somewhat the basic bohemian manner to which he approaches life, his music in contrast is full of unexpected width and emotion holding a surprising tenderness.
