Altai and Copilot - Free Saturday (“FL&R”)

     Finding songs that can be legally downloaded is easy. The difficult task is to find legally downloadable music that we recommend. Our plan is to post at least one Free, Legal and Recommended (FL&R) song each Saturday.\

     Multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Tessa Hayes has been writing and producing music nestled under a small yet inspiring mountain on the mid north coast. Drawing from musical influences like Warpaint, Angus and Julia Stone and Radiohead, the band Altai was formed, creating an energy all of its own. Altai's debut single “You Said” is convincing evidence. With plans in the pipeline to record an EP and tour with a full band, this is just the beginning for Altai.

     Copilot is a Retro Pop band from Boston, MA. The band’s members are Ry McDonald (guitar, vocals), Maggie Quealy (vocals), Jake Machell (vocals, percussion), Austin Beveridge (bass), and Dylan Allwine (drums). At the moment, the band is best known for constantly making melodic noises in neighborhoods all around New England.
