“Dandelion” by Oliver Hazard – A Song Feature

Music can reshape your attitude and Oliver Hazard is a trio of feel-good artisans. While listening to their music and doing research about the band from Waterville, Ohio, the conclusion was that their approach to their craft is genuinely admirable.

While discussing their most recent release, the band stated:
“’Dandelion’ felt much bigger than any song we had previously released, so we thought it particularly important to include our community in release of this song. We invited a close group of friends, some of whom we have played music with for over a decade. We recorded a single live take of ‘Dandelion,’ and when it was all said and done, we all grabbed a beer from our favorite local bar, like we always do.”

The members of Oliver Hazard are Michael Belazis, Griffin McCulloch, and Devin East. In the video that is included below, the guest musicians are:
-Coe McKinley
-Kyle Bowell
-Kevin Bosl
-John Bonamigo
-Chris Rogge
-Elliott Phillips
-James Gerhardt
-Kathleen Schnerer
-Devonte Stovall
-Anna Eyink

Lyrics of “Dandelion” by Oliver Hazard
Seen my baby in the afternoon
When I leave here gonna live with you
I'll be back on the first of June
Will you hold my boots

Oh dandelion
My dandelion
Tell me when you've made your mind

So wake me up
And brush my hair
And do that little thing you do till I
Till I go

Fix the gate and leave the door
When I leave here gonna fix it more
Hold the phone now hold that line
Tell the boys they'll be just fine
I'll be just fine

Oh dandelion
My dandelion
Tell me when you've made your mind

So wake me up
And brush my hair
And do that little thing you do till I
Till I go

Oh dandelion
My dandelion
You said not to write
Oh dandelion
My dandelion
Tell me when I'm worth it

Seen my baby in the afternoon
When I leave here gonna live with you
