It is no secret that there is a twenty-something singer/songwriter who was considered a Country star, but seems to have gone through a breakup and is now in the Pop genre. Surely she will “Shake It Off.” She is renowned for her songwriting about relationships that went through breakups. For each, she has been able to move on, “Forever and Always.” With all the breakups, it would seem that a relationship sophistication would develop, so that each one wouldn’t end with the thought, “Should’ve Said No.”
A twenty-something singer/songwriter who does exhibit a relationship sophistication exists. His name is Freddie Dickson. And his songs are often directed to existing relationships, although ones that are in need of repair.
