November Songs that Bear Repeating

As a welcome to the new month, here are favorite songs from November posts of Indie Obsessive. This month, the collection of songs is more “gender meandering” than usual. The genres include Hip Hop, guitar-driven Rock, Pop, and Dream Pop.

“Where Is the Way” by Ourlives (from the Iceland-based post of November 15). This is a pre-2014 song, but it is still being offered as a free download. To be appreciated, the song should be considered as having three increasingly energetic parts. The second part begins with the introduction of the percussion at the 1:07 mark. The third part begins with the introduction of driving guitar at 2:29.

Botnleðja – Slóði (from the Iceland-based post of November 15)

“Dazzle” by Oh Wonder (from the November 2 post)

“Linin Up” by Matt Millz (from the November 26 post)

“100 Lanterns” by YOU (from the November 30 post)

“Till “It’s Gone” by Yelawolf (from the November 6 post)

"Tied Up in Nottz" by Sleaford Mods - Our guilty pleasure (from the November 11 post)
