In their song “Memory Loss,” Bengal Lancers place somber subject matter in a high-octane vehicle. “I feel that I might be losing my mind.” The melody drives the track, with the presentation of the socially relevant concern around mental health being tailored to align with the drive. For much of “Memory Loss,” it is fair to characterize the vocals as melodic shouting.
