Three for Free, Legal and Recommended (“FL&R”) – An August Version

Free and Legal Downloads? Yes, at least temporarily. Bands often temporarily permit free downloads of new releases.  The end of the offer might be based upon reaching a maximum number of downloads or the expiration of some period of time.  But at least for now, here are songs that qualify as Free, Legal and Recommended (FL&R) downloads.

The Last September from Edinburgh, Scotland is scheduled to release the album “Volcano” on October 20, 2014 (although their Facebook indicates it may be as soon as September 7). “This Train Remains” is the first single. The members of The Last September are Pete Deane, David Bishop, Craig Nicholson, Archie MacFarlane, and Simon Usher.

Paul Cook & The Chronicles are reflective and down tempo with the song “Come Out Wherever You Are.” Cook is a singer-songwriter based in London.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah has been generating quality music since 2004. Admittedly, our favorite song remains “Same Mistake,” but the recently released “Coming Down” is not far behind.
